J.R. qualified 2nd setting same time as pole sitter at a 15:07. When the green dropped Stacey Roberts got
around J.R. a few laps in and was going for the lead. Stacey was door to door in turn one when Jay Johnson cut across
him causing Stacey to spin. That left J.R. back in second and Stacey to the rear. J.R. and Jay ran some good laps making for
an interesting race when J.R. as Stacey did pulled door to door with Jay in turn one for the pass and again Jay cut J.R. off
just as he did Stacey causing J.R. to spin rather then crashing up two cars. This put J.R. back to the rear of the field.
Not happy with the call J.R. drove a clean charge to the front. Unfortunately time ran out as he battled back to
third and was gaining ground on Jay Carpenter for second when his time ran out. Jay Johnson finished 1st with
Jay Carpenter almost pulling out the win on the last few laps and J.R finished third.
